Arts and crafts is one of Samoa’s talents and one place that is leading the way in teaching our local students is Leulumoega School of Fine Arts. The students’ work is displayed at the EFKS (Congregational Christian Church of Samoa) Museum - a large Samoan fale with high ceilings and glass walls decorated with beautiful carvings and statues, which tells its own unique story or tale from the myths of Samoan ancestors.

A certain feature at the entrance of the Museum is the statue of the Samoan goddess and warrior princess Nafanua, who prophesied the arrival of Christianity to Samoa to Malietoa Vainuupo (last King of Samoa). Also on display at the museum are old printing presses that were used in the early days of the church which were used to translate the bible and put Samoan language in writing thanks to the work of the early missionaries who established the Samoan alphabet.
