Samoa Cultural Village Tour

Discover Samoa’s age-old culture and traditions in a fun and interactive way at the Samoa Cultural Village located behind Samoa Tourism Authority’s information kiosk on Beach Road in the heart of Apia.

The village showcases authentic demonstrations of traditional Samoan activities including wood artefact carving, basket weaving, tapa making and a traditional tatau (tattoo) exhibition. Additionally, treat yourself to sampling Samoan food straight out of the umu (earth oven). Meet and interact with Matai (Chiefs), Tatau Masters, Carvers and Siapo (tapa) and Elei (traditional designs on fabric) Makers.
